TRADITIONAL LEADERS FROM SUD-COMOÉ VISIT THE ABIDJAN PORT FACILITIES

A delegation of traditional leaders from Sud-Comoé, led by NANAN KODJO Aketchi, Chief of the village of Allangouanou, visited the Abidjan Port Authority on Thursday, August 14, 2025, as part of efforts to strengthen ties between customary authorities and the institutions of the Republic.

Upon their arrival, the dignitaries were received with full honors by the Managing Director of the Abidjan Port Authority (PAA), Mr. Hien Yacouba SIÉ.

In his welcome address, the Port Authority commended their visit and emphasized the importance of fostering strong relations between the PAA and all components of the nation. He also took the opportunity to invite the delegation to the upcoming celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Abidjan Port, scheduled for September 11 and 12.

On behalf of all the traditional leaders, NANAN KODJO Aketchi expressed gratitude to the President of the Republic, H.E.M. Alassane OUATTARA, for his vision and constant commitment to the development of port infrastructure. He also conveyed his appreciation to the Managing Director of the Abidjan Port Authority, Mr. Hien Yacouba SIÉ, for the warm welcome and for successfully leading modernization projects that have helped position the Abidjan Port as a major logistics hub in West Africa.

The visit concluded with a tour of the port facilities.
