On Friday, July 18, 2025, the Director of Digital Information Systems (DSIN), Mr. Macky SANGARÉ, representing the Managing Director of the Abidjan Port (PAA), Mr. Hien Yacouba SIÉ, held an information session with a delegation from SAH Analytics International (SAI), a company specializing in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cybersecurity.

Mr. SANGARÉ was accompanied by the Commercial, Marketing and Communication Director, Dr. Titi PALÉ, and the Director of Economic Studies, Strategy and Planning (DEESP), Mr. Jules KOUADIO.

Ms. Khadidja Gueye TOURÉ, Marketing, Communication, and Partnership Director, and head of the SAI delegation, presented the company’s various areas of expertise, which include artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, satellite imagery, and more. She also introduced the objectives of the International Exhibition on Artificial Intelligence, Defense, and Space (SIADE), which aims to position Côte d’Ivoire as a continental hub for technological innovation. The second edition of this exhibition is scheduled for February 2026.

After Ms. TOURÉ’s presentation, Mr. SANGARÉ highlighted that the activity most likely to interest the Abidjan Port is the use of satellite imagery—a technology useful in anticipating coastal erosion and combating pollution.

He concluded by expressing hope that discussions between the two parties would continue toward a favorable outcome.
