MR. KASSOUM TRAORÉ APPOINTED ACTING MANAGING DIRECTOR OF THE ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY

During its extraordinary session held on Monday, May 4, 2026, the Board of Directors of the Abidjan Port Authority (PAA) appointed Mr. Kassoum TRAORÉ as Acting Managing Director of PAA.

Previously Director of Logistics within the institution, the Acting Managing Director is an experienced executive of the Abidjan Port Authority, whose career reflects a thorough understanding of the operational, strategic, and organizational challenges of the port platform.

This appointment, which consecrates the promotion of internal expertise, forms part of the willengness to ensure managerial continuity and consolidate achievements in an environment marked by increased demands for performance, competitiveness, and modernization.

In the performance of his duties, the Acting Managing Director will be tasked with ensuring the efficient management of port activities, maintaining the transformation momentum already underway, and strengthening the positioning of the Abidjan Port as a benchmark logistics hub in West Africa.
