ECONOMIC MISSION IN CÔTE D’IVOIRE : "MAISON DE L’AFRIQUE" ON A PROSPECTING VISIT TO THE ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY

The Abidjan Port Authority (PAA) welcomed, on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, a delegation of French business leaders and investors led by Youssouf CAMARA, Chief Executive Officer of "Maison de l’Afrique".

This economic mission, dedicated to the exploration of investment opportunities in Côte d’Ivoire, forms part of a strategic prospecting initiative aimed at gaining a better understanding of the national economic ecosystem and its key growth drivers.

On this occasion, the delegation held discussions with representatives of the Port Authority, notably Colonel COFFI Yao Emmanuel, Port Harbour Master and Director of Maritime Operations, Security and Environment, and Dr. Titi PALÉ, Commercial, Marketing and Communication Director, regarding port operating conditions, cooperation mechanisms with PAA, and prospects for sustainable foreign investments. These exchanges highlighted the positioning of PAA as a benchmark regional logistics hub serving economic competitiveness.

As a true pillar of economic growth, the maritime industry plays a decisive role in the fluidity of trade flows and the competitiveness of businesses. In this regard, the Abidjan Port, the country’s main gateway for imports and exports, stands out as a major strategic player in trade within West Africa.

In light of these challenges, "Maison de l’Afrique" reaffirmed its willingness to strengthen and structure sustainable cooperation frameworks with PAA, with a view to facilitating support for French and international companies in their establishment projects, while contributing to the optimization of import-export operations.

A partner of Côte d’Ivoire’s Ministry of Trade and Industry through the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Côte d’Ivoire, "Maison de l’Afrique" also relies on a network of more than 500 international franchises operating across various strategic sectors worldwide, thereby consolidating its role as an investment facilitator and catalyst for economic partnerships.
