THE ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY SHARES ITS EXPERTISE WITH A DELEGATION FROM THE PORT OF CONAKRY
The Abidjan Port Authority (PAA) received, on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at its Headquarters, a Guinean delegation from the Internal Resource Mobilization Support Mission (MAMRI), led by Colonel Youssouf TRAORÉ, Director of the Customs Resources Project, accompanied by Ms. Makalé BILIVOGUI, Economic Advisor at the Embassy of Guinea in Abidjan.
The delegation was welcomed by Colonel COFFI Yao Emmanuel, Harbour Master of the Abidjan Port, representing the Port Authority, in the presence among others of Mr. MONI N’Guessan, Director of Infrastructure and Project Management (DIMO), Dr. Titi PALÉ épouse KOUMAN, Commercial, Marketing and Communication Director (DCMC), Mr. KOUADIO Jules, Director of Economic Studies, Strategy and Planning (DEESP), and Mr. OUATTARA Almamy, Director of Finance and Accounting (DFC).
This working session, held under the banner of experience sharing, focused on the competitiveness drivers of the Abidjan Port, with the objective of enabling the Port of Conakry to draw inspiration from Ivorian expertise in port modernization and development.
The discussions notably covered key themes such as infrastructure modernization, improvement of logistics performance, port safety and security, as well as investment mobilization.
The meeting concluded with a guided tour of the port facilities, during which the delegation was able to be acquainted with the significant transformations carried out since 2011. Several major infrastructures were presented, including the grain terminal, the fishing terminal, the Ro-Ro terminal, and the second container terminal (TC2).
Through this meeting, the Abidjan Port Authority confirms its position as a benchmark port platform in West Africa, committed to a dynamic of expertise sharing and sub-regional cooperation.
