SENEGAL MINERGY PORT ON IMMERSION VISIT TO ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY

A delegation from Senegal Minergy Port conducted a benchmarking visit to Abidjan Port Authority (PAA) on March 10, 2025. This mission is part of preparations for the upcoming opening of the Bargny-Sendou Mineral and Bulk Port, currently under construction in Senegal.

Led by Mr. Baba DABO, Director of Digitalization and Port Information System Management, the delegation exchanged views with Abidjan Port Authority to draw from its expertise in managing specialized terminals.

Mr. Hien Yacouba SIÉ, Managing Director of PAA, welcomed this initiative, which strengthens inter-port cooperation between Côte d'Ivoire and Senegal and highlights Abidjan Port's know-how and strategic role in regional maritime transport development.

The Senegalese delegation also took this opportunity to commend Abidjan Port Authority for its impressive performance in recent years.
