On Tuesday, December 30, 2025, a “FAREWELL” ceremony was held at the Annex Base of the National Navy in Plateau, marking the retirement of sailors who have devoted many years of service to the State of Côte d’Ivoire.

Beyond honoring retiring sailors, the ceremony also served to recognize civilian and military figures whose commitment has significantly contributed to strengthening national maritime security and governance.
