THE PORT OF ABIDJAN AND TERRA STRENGTHEN THEIR DIALOGUE IN SUPPORT OF PORT PERFORMANCE

Continuing its policy of ongoing consultation with stakeholders of the Abidjan Port Community (CPA), the Managing Director of the Abidjan Port Authority (PAA), Mr. Kassoum TRAORÉ, who also serves as President of the CPA, received in audience, on Monday, June 29, 2026, a delegation from the Abidjan Ro-Ro Terminal (TERRA), led by its Managing Director, Mr. Joël BROUX.

This meeting forms part of the Port Authority’s commitment to maintaining constructive dialogue with concessionaires and operators of the port platform in order to identify the levers capable of improving the overall performance of the Port of Abidjan.

The discussions enabled the TERRA delegation to present the challenges associated with the operation of the Ro-Ro terminal and to share several proposals aimed at optimizing its activities. The exchanges took place in a spirit of listening and collaboration, with the common objective of strengthening the competitiveness of the port platform.

On this occasion, Mr. Kassoum TRAORÉ reaffirmed the commitment of the Abidjan Port Authority to supporting all stakeholders of the Port Community in a process of continuous improvement. To this end, he invited TERRA’s management team to formally submit the various issues raised, together with the proposed areas for improvement, in order to ensure coordinated follow-up and facilitate the implementation of appropriate actions.
