As part of the ongoing consultation process with the key stakeholders of the Abidjan Port Community since taking office, the Managing Director of the Abidjan Port Authority (PAA), Mr. Kassoum TRAORE, received, on Friday, July 10, 2026, Ms. Myriam OUASSENAN, Managing Director of the Abidjan Bulk Terminal (TVA), accompanied by several members of her team.

The working session provided an opportunity to review the terminal operator’s activities, assess the performance recorded in 2025 and discuss the company’s development prospects. The discussions also addressed key operational challenges.

On this occasion, the Managing Director of PAA extended his warm congratulations to the Managing Director of the Abidjan Bulk Terminal on its excellent 2025 results, marked by 9 million tonnes of cargo traffic, underscoring the terminal’s significant contribution to the overall performance of the port platform.

Reaffirming his commitment to governance based on dialogue, attentive listening and close engagement with port operators, Mr. Kassoum TRAORE stressed that this approach is intended to identify, through consultation, solutions to partners’ concerns and sustainably strengthen the competitiveness of the Port of Abidjan.

The meeting forms part of the Managing Director’s efforts to consolidate partnership relations with concessionaires and all stakeholders across the port logistics chain, with a view to pursuing the modernization of the port platform and further strengthening its role as a leading logistics hub in West Africa, in the service of Côte d’Ivoire’s economic development.
