On Wednesday, February 5, 2025, the Managing Director of the Abidjan Port Authority, Mr. Hien Yacouba SIÉ, met with Ms. Marie-Hélène SULTAN, Head of the Quebec Government Office in Côte d'Ivoire.

Discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between Quebec and Côte d'Ivoire, particularly in the port sector.

Ms. Marie-Hélène SULTAN expressed her commitment to consolidating ties between the two states in several strategic sectors, with a particular emphasis on the Port of Abidjan.

For his part, Mr. Hien SIÉ expressed his full willingness to work closely with his Quebec counterparts to enhance this cooperation.
