MODERNIZATION OF ABIDJAN PORT: THE WORKS ARE MAKING GOOD PROGRESS

On 29 March 2017, Mr Hien Yacouba SIE, Managing Director of Abidjan Port Authority granted an audience to a delegation of China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC) led by its Vice President, Mr LI YI. The meeting dealt with the progress of the widening and deepening works of the Vridi channels Fairway and the construction of the second container terminal which have been entrusted to that company as part of the infrastructure modernization project of Abidjan Port. After having toured the different locations, Mr LI YI considered the works progress satisfying. He insisted on reassuring the Abidjan Port Authority’s Managing Director with respect to the deadlines and reliability of the works.
