THE NEW CHAIRMAN OF ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY OFFICIALLY TOOK OFFICE

Appointed by presidential decree on Friday 08th September, 2021, the New Chairman of the Board of Directors Abidjan Port Authority, Mr. Abdou TOURE officially took office after the Board meeting held on 08th October, 2021.

The new Chairman of Board felt honoured by this new appointment. He thanked and expressed his profound appreciation to the Head of State, His Excellency, Mr. Alassane OUATTARA for his special attention and trust.

Mr. Abdou TOURE expressed both his satisfaction and optimism in respect of a promising and brilliant future of Abidjan Port Authority.   

He assured of his availability and commitment with the members of the Board of Directors and the Management Team of Abidjan Port Authority in order to achieve the objectives of the company.

<< I will make all endeavors to move the Abidjan Port Authority forward, I want to rely on you in order to work together >>, the Chairman of the Board of Directors stated and did not miss the opportunity to express his appreciation of the work of his predecessor late sir KANTE KOLY whose vision and commitment to working are unanimously recognized.

The Managing Director of Abidjan Port Authority welcomed the new Chairman of the Board and pointed out that the Port Authority is enriched with an expert.

With the support of the new Chairman, the Port will carry on its growth in order to maintain its leading position.

The Managing Director wished fair winds to the new Chairman and to the other members of the Board and expressed his willingness and that of the Executive Committee to work together in harmony.
